Just 200 yards from Mylor yacht harbour with its restaurants, cafes, water sports facilities and public slipway, this converted barn boasts an enviable location. Adjacent to the owner’s property, relax on the terrace or enjoy the garden with views over the river. The little church of Mylor nestles on the hillside overlooking the water, an excellent location for exploring the waterways surrounding Fal Estuary plus Helford River and creeks. The nearby village of Mylor Bridge provides a pub and local store, and Flushing (2 miles) overlooks Falmouth, with its National Maritime Museum, art galleries, surf and traditional pasty shops. Shop and pubs 1 mile.

Just a few minutes walk from the harbour and wine bar (good food) and a short drive from The Lemon Inn at Mylor Bridge and the Pandora Inn. A cautionary note: there are four steps from the living area to the kitchen and there is no rail to assist. April 2012.

  7. Trewithin Cottage was all we expected and more. Nearness to the harbour at Mylor was an added bonus as we could stroll down easily and enjoy the sunsets. After days out what more could we have asked for than this comfortable and well equipped "home" to return to, especially having a glass of wine in the pretty little garden area.We were sad to leave and would definitely return should the opportunity arise.   16. The standard of furnishing and decor were extremely high as was cleanliness and facilities. It is located in an excellent position a few minutes walk from Mylor Harbour, wine bar and cafe and a beautiful, fascinating church. Two minutes walk in the other direction is a lovely quiet creek and a walk to Mylor Bridge. The shops in Mylor Bridge are good and very convenient. The gardens around the cottage are lovely.
