Property Description

These spacious holiday apartments stand high above the harbour town of Mevagissey, easily accessible without driving through the narrow streets, each with their own private balcony, an ideal spot to sit and relax with a glass of wine and perhaps with the catch of the day available fresh from the quayside below. There is also a large shared garden area in which to sit with shared patio and barbecue. Superb beaches can be found at Pentewan and Portmellon, both within 1 mile. Whilst a short walk leads to the centre of Mevagissey with its maze of narrow streets, bustling harbour and interesting variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. Fishing and boat trips can be enjoyed during the season, with plenty of interesting activities and friendly local hospitality. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Biosphere Domes of the exciting Eden Project are all easily accessible. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1/2 mile. Property refs 19915, 19916 and 26227 can be booked together to accommodate up to 8 guests.

  1. Just returned from a week in this really lovely apartment. All the amenieties were of a high standard and the view from the balcony is well worth the journey. Whilst the walk to and from Megavissey Town is very steep the shops, pubs and harbour area are well worth the effort. If needed then Mike’s Taxis service is recommended by us. June 2012.
  2. This property is an excellent base for holidays in Cornwall. It has a very quiet location where you can relax and unwind. There are lots of nice restaurants in Mevagissey, we liked the Sharksfin and ate there a few times. I would recommend taking the boat across from Megagissey to Fowey as the scenery is lovely. May 2012.
  3. It was a pleasure to stay in such a delightful apartment. It was ideally located for the village amenities and accessing all corners of Cornwall. With the added bonus of your own parking space (rare in these unspoilt villages), and not having to negotiate the narrow streets, I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this property and would undoubtedly return.
