1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Originally a farm building built around 1890, this detached holiday cottage now lovingly converted to provide a very good level of accommodation for couples wishing to enjoy the delights of Shropshire, and glorious countryside near to the Welsh Borders. The Severn Way, walking, cycling and touring are all on the doorstep. Golf can also be found locally. Shrewsbury is one of England’s finest medieval market towns, packed with timber-framed black and white buildings including the castle, now a regimental museum and Shrewsbury Abbey. The River Severn forms a loop around the town centre offering gentle riverside walks or guided walks or a trip on the pleasure boat, Sabrina. Shop, pub and restaurant 2/3 mile.

Ground floor: Step to living/dining room. Kitchen. First floor: 1 double (5ft) bedroom. Shower room with toilet.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels included. Freesat TV. DVD. Stereo/CD. iPod dock. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Freezer. Shared sitting-out area. Parking (1 car). Pet free of charge (kept on a lead). No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  1. Lavender Cottage is very comfortable and everything that you might need has been provided. There are lots of places to visit in the area, various National properties, Ironbridge and it’s many museums. There is a Cooperative Supermarket about 5 minutes drive from the cottage and sells a good range of goods. The Park and Ride service to Shrewsbury is situated behind the Coop and is a good way to travel to the town. We enjoyed our holiday despite all the rain! April 2012.

  4. This is an excellent cottage/barn conversion. It is located within the ground of the property owners. We took our little westie with us and he was very happy with the surroundings, and the owners friendly dog Woody. The accommodation was very clean and very well equipped.   11. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location on the outskirts of Shewsbury, in a good area to walk in and explore. It was clean comfortable and well equipped. The owners (including their lovely little dog), were very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. I would recommend this cottage to friends and family. June 2011.
