Property Description

Nestling against a small heather clad hillock, this cosy holiday cottage will appeal to those wishing to enjoy peace and tranquillity coupled with stunning scenery. Situated on the Sleat Peninsula, known as the ‘Garden of Skye’, the area is patterned with numerous lochs, green fields and woodlands. Armadale Castle, Gardens and Visitors Centre and the ferry to Mallaig is just a short drive. A trip northwards to visit Portree and Dunvegan - lovely bustling villages with lots of character is not to be missed. Sailing and kayaking around the rocky shores is also highly recommended, whilst for the more energetic, climbing in the Cuillins or mountain biking is easily available. Shops 5 miles.

  5. Larch Cottage is in the small hamlet of Drumfearn just a few miles from Isleornsay on the Sleat peninsula. It is really well located to explore the whole of Skye and the mainland and we look forward to coming back to this modern, comfortable and well equipped cottage again soon! April 2011.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
