Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. An immaculately presented property furnished with real style and very well equipped. The bed was large and comfortable and the Jacuzzi and wood burning stove nice touches. The owners were delightful and very helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a quiet spot in which to relax and enjoy the area’s natural beauty. March 2012.
  2. The accommodation was much better than expected. The photographs did not do justice to the size, cleanliness and high standard of fixtures and fittings. The surrounding area was beautiful, if a little isolated, it was just over a mile to Launceston and a little more to the nearest pub in the other direction. Bodmin Moor was an easy drive and the owners David and Fiona were very helpful with directions and very approachable throughout the stay with any queries. We will certainly be returning next year. Oct 2011.
  3. Lovely place, beautiful setting and lovely owners. We had a much needed relaxing long weekend break. Will absolutely go back for longer. Word of warning....do not use Sat Nav to get here!!! Follow the directions sent with the booking. Sept 2011.
  4. Excellently equipped kitchen, clean and very well presented throughout. Wood burner was a lovely touch and used it to dry off from the rain. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. June 2011.
  5. Fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting. The owners are more than kind and are happy to help. Great amenities and a perfect stopping point to access most of what Cornwall has to offer. Baby and dog friendly. July 2011.
  6. The cottage was truely lovely and decor and furnishings were done to a high standard. The field for the dog walking was great as it meant our dog could run to his hearts content and we knew he was ok!a fantastic set up overall and we would love to go back. May 2011.
  7. Lovely property, friendly hosts and excellent location. Quiet and cosy, well worth the effort to visit! Plenty to do in the surrounding area too: Lydford Gorge and Lanhydrock House are two favourites along with all the usual tourist traps: Tintagel, Boscastle, Mevagissey, Polperro and Padstow. April 2011.
  8. Lovely cottage and owners were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well equipped, shower was wonderful and log burner made cottage very cosy! Field next to property for exercising the dog. Local pub called the White Horse was only a 15 min walk was very welcoming, nice food and allowed the dog. March 2011.
  9. The property was in an ideal location, so we were able to explore a lot of Cornwall from our base. Feb 2011.
  10. The open plan and small but comfortable cottage was fantastic. All being on one level was great and the lounge was brilliant with the wood burner to sit back and relax in the evenings with the rain and wind howling outside. Kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was very comfortable too. Feb 2011.
  11. Good location, tastefully furnished, clean. Sept 2010.
  12. We had a lovely holiday at Kylden, the barn conversion is fabulous and felt like a home from home with everything needed for a wonderful time away. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for days out and about. We would definitely return and recommend to our friends and family. Sept 2010.
  13. Property was superb, only downfall was a little far out if you didn’t want to use your car in the evenings. June 2010.
