Property Description

This is a beautifully maintained property, attached to the owners’ villa but completely independent. The gardens are beautiful and tastefully planned, with lovely views over to the Albères range of mountains and across to the Mediterranean coast in the distance. Definitely a property for enjoying al-fresco living - there is a charming covered terrace area and open terraces. The grounds are fully enclosed and the pool is shared with the owners, but they have their own terraces and barbecue area within the grounds. Tresserre is a sleepy village, with just one small general store. It is a mere 5km north of Le Boulou, a bustling Mediterranean town with most facilities. The coast is within easy reach, as is the Spanish border. This is an excellent location to discover this delightful corner of France and Spain by popping over the border.

Location: Tresserre (village shop), 5km N of Le Boulou (most facilities), 15km N of Spanish border, 17km S of Perpignan (all facilities, airport), 20km W of Mediterranean coast.

  2. It is a fabulous property - even the brochure doesn’t do it full justice! It has everything - superb accommodation, a very nice couple who own it and make a real effort to welcome their guests, a swimming pool, great views and is a good location for reaching the coast and the Pyrenees.   4. Extremely clean, well presented and comfortable. Everything was provided so that the holiday could start immediately without having to worry about finding a supermarket for basics - would be especially useful for visitors arriving by air with limited luggage. High standard of furnishings and linen - much better than the usual let. The owners are particularly friendly, helpful and accommodating - there if you want them but discreet if you want privacy, and included us in the local Fete, with their friends, which was a great experience. It was the perfect property for outdoor living, which is what we wanted, and for visiting the coast, mountains and a variety of towns/villages. Restaurant recommendations in the visitor’s book were well worth using and bread etc bought from the village shop was delicious. Altogether, a lovely experience and we enjoyed a truly relaxing holiday in probably the best presented accommodation we have experienced. July 2010.

  11. We really enjoyed staying at La Treill, which had good views and a beautiful garden. Raoul and Renee Molins were friendly,helpful and made us feel very welcome, but did not intrude on our time or space. Their little dog was also a delight (and we are not dog lovers!). A good location for getting out and about to explore the area - both the mountains and the coast.Ceret is a lovely town with a good art gallery, restaurants and shops plus a weekly market and only 20 minutes away. The village shop was a bonus - fresh croissants for breakfast. June 2007.
