Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. This house is fabulous. It’s spacious (four double bedrooms), extremely well-equipped, and has a gorgeous garden and terrace that are completely secluded from neighbours and the road. The sandy beach is 15 minutes walk away, although there wasn’t any problem with parking there when we were staying in early September. The very local shops offer fresh bread, meat and supermarket goods, and there’s a cash point. Be aware that you will need to clean the house to a very high standard at the end of your holiday, or up to 60 euros from your deposit could be withheld to pay professional cleaners. And if you’re driving down from Calais, you’ll need about 25 euros each way for tolls on the autoroutes. Sept 2012.
  2. A lovely base, 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen well equipped. Oct 2010.
  3. Property was in a great location, very well equipped and with a fantastic garden. Sept 2009.
  4. The inside of the property was extremely well equipped and the rooms were attractive. The beds were comfortable, which is a big bonus!! Sept 2009.
  5. We wanted to visit WW2 sites, and near the coast. History of the house. Good accommodation for a grown up family, 3 double bedrooms. Garden was wonderfully secluded, lovely lawn. Off road parking for 2 cars. Fantastic patio area. This is a great centre for looking at WW2 sites. The cemetary in the village is moving and very peaceful, especially in the evening. It’s proximity to the coast is also a bonus. July 2009.
  6. Situated in a quiet French village, no other Brits around. Very relaxing, close by to all D Day museums, within very easy reach of Caen ferry terminal. Lovely setting with gorgeous garden. Ping pong table was great fun too and different. April 2009.
  7. Very central for all the D day museums etc. Close to beaches also. May 2008.
  8. We had a fantastic holiday and would love to stay at the same property in the future. Apr 2009.
  9. The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable well placed in a small village for a peaceful holiday.ideal for the d-day beaches and ferry. May 2009.
  10. A charming setting, very peaceful, perfect for the landing beaches, Caen and Bayeux. April 2008.
  11. Nice house, good location, off street parking a bonus. Beautiful area full of history and fairly near sandy beaches. June 2008.
  12. An excellent property for young children as it is fully enclosed. Perfect location from which to explore the Normandy region with its many attractions. Apr 2009.
  13. Very beautiful gardens, polite and friendly people in the local shops. We absolutely loved the antique fixtures and fittings, especially the windows. May 2007.
