1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

There is a large enclosed garden with lawn and vines to enjoy. Spend time at the owners’ champagne vineyard where they will show you around, or visit other champagne cellars in the region and taste the local produce. Visit the Lac d’Orient for watersports, walking, cycling or riding, or visit the lovely medieval town of Troyes, just 45 minutes away, for great shopping and restaurants.

  1. This cottage is set in a beautifully tranquil and un-overlooked garden in a small village with a bar, grocery shop and a fantastic charcuterie. The owners are very friendly and helpful and provide everything you need - including a tour of their vineyard and free champagne ready in the fridge on arrival. There are plenty of places of interest within easy reach, but the cottage is ideal for relaxing in. The garden is a sheltered sun-trap and the cottage a comfortable, cool haven. This is undoubtedly one of the best gites we have stayed in during our many trips to France and we would definitely return. May 2012.
  2. If there was a Michelin Rating, this gite ranks 5*. The fixtures and fittings are of high quality, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and quiet. The Welcome Pack included bread, brioche, milk, butter, jam, tea, coffee and a half bottle of champagne!! Plus a separate wine ’cellar’ in the garden, stocked with local wines, honey and jams that we could use and paid for the items taken at the end of the week. On top of that, we had an hours tour of the owners vineyard/press and bottling areas, topped off with a champagne tasting session....all free and no obligation to buy! May 2012.
  3. Lovely cottage and garden with everything you could wish for. The only downside was that the evenings were quite cold and the heating didn’t really warm up the large downstairs area (bathroom was lovely and warm though). Having said that, we would definitely book the cottage again and the owner was lovely. April 2012.

  5. Excellent property set in a v quiet location and a good base for touring Southern Champagne and Northern Burgoyne regions. Well equipped and comfortable with a TV that takes DVDs (Europe) should you not do French TV so well. The owner’s own little wine and confiture store at the house ensures you have access to local champagne and jams etc for a modest price. Aug 2011.

  10. The accommodation was clean and comfortably furnished. Everything you could possibly want had been provided. The owners were very welcoming, and the provisions pack that was provided on arrival was a lovely touch, together with a bottle of champagne from the owners vineyards. Even though the house is in a village, it was incredibly quiet and did not feel closed in. It snowed whilst we were there so it was cold. It was a lovely break prior to the Christmas festivities.   14. The house had been tastefully renovated to a high standard. The secure, walled garden was a very pleasant environment and was not overlooked. The bedrooms were very quiet apart from the hourly chiming of the two local clocks, although they did not keep me awake. Beds were very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and pleasant and spoke good English. Information on opening hours of the local small shops would have been beneficial as they were not open all that long - especially on the first and second days of our stay (Sunday and Monday).   16. I felt considering the price of the accommodation the standard was good and everything was provided that you would need. The bedrooms were lovely and the old furniture was pretty with a lovely simple oak stair case. Having an enclosed garden was great for our toddler and the house wasnt over looked despite being in a village. May 2010.
  17. The cottage is sited towards the outskirts of a quiet village where champagne production is the main activity. It has a very private enclosed garden, not overlooked at all, roomy sitting room with comfy chairs, and a large, very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is modern and fresh. The proprietor provides a welcome pack of provisions which is more than adequate to get one started. April 2010.
