Property Description

This pretty, renovated detached barn is set in spacious gardens in the pretty village of Le Mesnil-Rogues. La Grange retains much of its original character, and the large mezzanine upper floor has two sleeping areas providing comfortable holiday accommodation for two adults and up to two children. Within the village itself is a renowned local restaurant, and the nearby town of Gavray provides all local amenities. Nearby is Granville, well known for its sandy beaches, casino and ferry port with sailings to the Channel Islands. The historic town of Coutances with its spectacular hilltop cathedral is well worth a visit. Le Mont St. Michel is a must-see for visitors to this part of Normandy.

Granville town with all the shops/bars and supermarkets you could ever need only a 10 minute drive away, smaller town 5 minutes away. Ideal location for discovering Normandy and the north coast.   4. The cottage is in a very quiet village with easy access to all of Normandy’s attractions, our kids loved having such a large garden to play in and the beach at Carolles. Seeing The Bayeux Tapestry and The American Cemetery at Ohama Beach were our personal highlights, most villages have a market day which are also worth a visit. July 2011.

Faultless, a rebuilt barn situated in the English owners extensive grounds, they are in residence in their house for part of the year and are most helpful.The property is located on the fringe of a peaceful French village with great beaches within 15 minutes drive.   10. This was a great property, well converted and comfortable. This is a new property for rental so one or two things still missing eg a frying pan (there was a griddle pan) but not a frying pan, but it was generally fairly well supplied and all modern conveniences. April 2010.
