The doors open onto a terrace and garden, ideal for barbecues, al fresco dining or relaxing under the shady tree. The Brenne Natural Park with its thousands of lakes and 5300 hectares of land is a paradise for nature lovers. For a taste of the past visit the historic city of Bourges, which was conquered by Ceasar and offers numerous Roman remains to discover. For a lively atmosphere, head for Poitiers and visit Futuroscope.

Location: 3km E of Neuvy St. Sepulcre (shops, restaurant), 11km E of Le Châtre (museum, château d’Ars), 30km N of Eguzon (leisure centre, water sports), 34km SE of Châteauroux (all facilities).

  2. This property is situated out in the country and is very quiet and relaxing. Everything you could want is provided and the property was very clean. Excellent en-suites and beds very comfortable. June 2012.
  3. One of the best Gites we have stayed in on holiday in France, and we have stayed in a few! Very clean and very well equipped. If you are looking for a "get away from it all" holiday in rural France, I would recommend this Gite. Its a place that is private that you can really relax. Nearest neighbours very friendly (although not much spoken English!). Lots of lovely walks within the area and on the edge of Brenne Natural Park which is great for walking and cycling. A bit distant from the main Chateaux and towns of the Loire, but not inaccessible. I couldn’t recommend it more, we had a wonderful holiday. July 2011.

  9. This is, quite simply, the best property we have ever stayed in anywhere in Europe! It is furnished and equipped to the standard you would do for your own home. It was lovely to see the photos of the owners restoring the property and great to find a bottle of wine awaiting our arrival. Aug 2010.
  10. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The property had the feel of a French cottage but with a high standard of finishes, particularly in the bathrooms and the kitchen. There are plenty of spaces in the garden area for both sun and shade. The property benefits from the best of both worlds as it is rural, but with facilities within easy reach.   19. The fact that it had been refurbished to a very high standard, with all mod-cons, good en-suite bathrooms, had satellite TV, was very comfortable and in a quiet, yet accessible location. Also that it was a detached property with an enclosed garden. Sept 2009.
