This compact holiday base, pleasantly furnished and tucked away behind the main street of the village, overlooks the upper reaches of Dublin’s famous River Liffey and provides opportunity to explore and enjoy the delights of Kildare and west Wicklow.

Racehorses on the Curragh in the early morning, sailing on Blessington lakes, hiking the hills and mountains, discovering the local towns and villages - all within easy reach, whilst walks along the river are just outside your door.

The area is a mecca of golf, gardens and historic buildings with Dublin city an easy 25 miles. Shop 30 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single. Shower room with toilet.

Open fire in living room. Electric central heating and power (€20 per week). Bed linen and towels included. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Enclosed lawned garden. Parking (1 car). NB: River close by.

  2. The cottage although compact is lovely with all the facilities you need. Tea, coffee, toilet rolls, sheets and laundry are provided. The owners are very friendly and made us very welcome. The village has several pubs and two good restaurants, one of which has a fast food carryout section. July 2011.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
