Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. This was my first visit to Cornwall, but I am sure it won’t be my last. The cottage was exactly as described and suited my needs perfectly. The cottage had been carefully prepared and the owner was very helpful in giving me directions, arranging for collection of the key and meeting with me to check that all was ok. Nov 2011.
  2. The location of the cottage is excellent. You have the beautiful harbour within 30 secs of your front door. The cottage very quirky and set on 3 floors. On the ground floor you have the kitchen and lounge/diner. Although space is limited you have everything you need. Although the cottage sleeps 4, its really set up for two people eg one two seater sofa. The master bedroom is beautiful and extremely comfy bed. I’d recommend this for two but not for a family as the stairs are steep so young children could find these difficult. Perfect for a couple and dog friendly. June 2011.
  3. Beautiful cottage, fantastic location near the pub, shops, harbour and gorgeous restaurants. Can’t wait to visit again, though this time was made even more delightful as we got to watch the filming of Doc Martin and met Martin Clunes! Totally recommend the cottage and the location for a memorable holiday. April 2011.
  4. The property had character and was traditional and in keeping with a seaside cottage. The owners had thought carefully about the equipment they supplied and the stove was quirky and added to the quaintness of the place. Feb 2011.
  5. Good central location. Although the rooms were small, they were cosy and best use of space had been made, for example in the main living area, the TV had been mounted on the wall. Jan 2011.
  6. Decoration was well thought out throughout, it was clean and everything needed was provided plus a few extras to make you feel relaxed and welcome. Oct 2010.
  7. A beautiful fishing port, nice eating places with friendly locals. The one and only pub serves good beer and food as well. Feb 2010.
  8. The property was small but clean with all necessary facilities. The soft furnishings and linen were spotless. We enjoyed our stay. Oct 2009.
  9. The owner was very helpful and was available if needed, the cottage was beautiful and in an ideal location. Sept 2009.
  10. It was close to the town centre. Aug 2009.
  11. The property was maintained to an excellent 5 star quality. Everything was beautifully clean and appeared new. The location was unbeatable right in the heart of Port Isaac fishing village, which was one of the most gorgeous places in Cornwall especially as the sun sets. The public car park is about a ten minute walk up and down a very steep hill, you can buy a weeks roaming ticket that costs £22.00, This can be purchased by calling a phone number, but only certain credit cards are accepted, you can pay in coins but be warned the local shops won’t give you any change. Aug 2009.
  12. The cottage was lovely, matched our expectations. Beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean . Would really recommend it to anybody thinking of visiting Port Issac. Aug 2009.
  13. The information given in this brochure did not reflect just how fantastic the accommodation actually was. The master bedroom was on the top floor, which felt very grand, the kitchen was compact yet felt very high spec. and the general feel of the property was amazing. I have already recommended the property to a friend. June 2009.
  14. Close to pubs and restaurants. July 2009.
  15. Great property, well designed, compact and bijoux, cosy, comfortable, ideal location. Lovely master bedroom was the highlight of the property, nice linen and towels. Close to the pub. Would definitely come back again. The owners are nice people. April 2009.
  16. Property was lovely in great location. Very clean, well presented, great facilities. Could have done with more local knowledge info i.e. a welcome pack. Was some available i.e. on local walks. March 2009.
  17. The cottage was absolutely delightful and excellent value for money. It was beautifully furnished and offered everything one needed whether the weather be fair or foul. All I would say is that it’s the perfect size for a couple or family of three. Had a brilliant time, many thanks to the owner and your company. Jan 2009.
