Property Description

In an enviable location in the heart of Oban, this modern second floor holiday apartment enjoys wonderful views across the bay and out to the islands beyond. From Oban’s bustling harbour, there are daily boat trips to the surrounding islands, including Mull, Staffa and Iona where porpoise, dolphins, whales and basking sharks are often spotted. Local activities include walking, mountain biking, kayaking and skiing. There are plenty of castles, gardens and historic sites to explore or literally on your doorstep there are a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Oban also has a cinema and leisure centre. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

All on second floor: Living room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin (zip and link). Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

  2. The apartment, the fresh fish, the quayside prawn sandwiches, the Cal Mac ferry trips, the mountain and loch scenery,the Oban High School Pipe Band, all combined to make it an excellent holiday. June 2012.
  3. Top class apartmentm, 5 star, would recommend it to anyone, it is on the 3rd floor so that needs to be taken into consideration. Over looking the bay, would go back tomorrow everything is in walking distance just superb. May 2012.
  4. Kerrera View is a lovely property right in the centre of Oban. It is a modern flat and very tastefully decorated, loved all the extra little touches such as fresh flowers and Oban Chocolates on our pillow. There are some lovely seafood restaurants in Oban, on balance I would say EE-Usk is the better one, but Seafood Temple was also nice. For a cheaper meal the GluePot at The Ferryman in nearby Connel is very nice. We went out to Loch Ness, and across on the ferry to Mull. All in all a very relaxing week. April 2012.

  6. This is a very clean, well equipped and furnished apartment in a central location in Oban. Welcoming touches included a local paper, milk and chocolates. It was lovely and warm on one of the coldest weeks of the year. Oban is a great place for a break at this time of year as all shops and restaurants were open.   9. Well located in the centre of Oban and one of the most welcoming and well-appointed holiday homes we’ve stayed in. The many personal touches such as the whiskey decanter, shortbread, flowers and bowl of sweets were very much appreciated, making it feel like we were staying in someone’s home rather than rented accommodation.   10. Absolutely stunning property and location. The flat was extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming. The owners put in so many little extras that we weren’t expecting. The attention to detail was exceptional. Oban is a beautiful place and a good base from which to explore the beautiful highlands, lochs and islands. Can’t wait to return. Sept 2011.
  11. The apartment was superb in every way. It was lovely and clean, very modern and with lots of kind finishing touches. We had fresh flowers, milk in the fridge and chocolates on our bed and a drop of Oban whisky to top it all. The location was very central, two minutes walk to the ferry terminal and local restaurants. Lovely views over the harbour at night. A day trip with the Ferry company to Tobermory (Isle of Mull) was excellent. Food in Dolce Vista (homemade soups at lunchtime) and Cuan Mor for evening meals. There is a fresh fish bar by the ferry terminal, which is also excellent. Overall, a good holiday, we would stay at this property again. Aug 2011.
