Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Absolutely lovely place. The accommodation is top class and the views are splendid. Would recommend a drive out to the more remote Glencar region and a visit to the Glencar Hotel. Go off the main Ring of Kerry road just about opposite to the Red Fox Pub. Sept 2012.
  2. Good view, unless you are happy to spend time on the beach be prepared to drive a lot - the Ring of Kerry is beautiful. Expensive on the electric. Sept 2012.
  3. What a wonderful setting - large picture window gives great views of the bay and across to Dingle. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc, washing machine and Dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms a good size. Plenty of towels supplied. When we picked up the keys, we were shown to the property and given a guided tour - what great friendly service. A short walk to Kells Gardens and slightly longer to a cafe and small shop on the main road. Caitins (a short drive away) has a great atmosphere and serves fab food. If you like walking would recommend the Gap Of Dunloe, ignore the pony traps and follow the road through on foot - very picturesque. Aug 2011.
  4. The property was fantastic value and the family who run it truely made it what it is. The beach is within walking distance and the B and B ,which is also run by the owners, sells chips, saussages and other food and drink throughout the day. Everything about this makes a fantastic holiday! April 2011.
  5. Very comfortable, spacious, terrific views. Aug 2010.
  6. The cottage was wonderful in a beautiful setting no need for television the view from the window was more that we could wish for. The people were lovely and we would love to go back in the future. June 2010.
  7. The house was more than we could ever have wanted. Beautiful location and beach, very well equipped and friendly, cheerful people. I am already thinking of going back next year. May 2010.

  14. The holiday cottage was wonderful and everything we had imagined - it was a beautiful setting and well presented. It was well stocked and comfortable. May 2009.
  15. Amazing views! Huge gardens, plenty of space for our two red setters to run around in safely. Very spacious open plan living accommodation, very light and airy. Two minutes walk to beach, saw dolphins in the bay! Fabulous! June 2009.
  16. Superb location - nice and quiet - amazing view - house was perfect. April 2009.
  17. We found all the people living nearby, and the owners, absolutely charming. There is a lovely lobster fisherman who will sell you a lobster at a reasonable price. Where you turn left to reach the property in Kells Bay, carry on straight instead, he is just a few yards along the road. March 2009.
  18. The views from the property are spectacular. June 2009.
  19. The cottage was simply stunning. The location on a hillside overlooking the bay and mountains was so beautiful and the design of the cottage with large windows made the most of this. The quality of the fittings and furniture made this an outstanding cottage. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Kells Bay. The Kerry weather was typical of such an area and was expected. It is just a matter of being prepared with raincoats and umbrellas. There are usually lots of bright spots throughout the day. July 2009.
  20. Excellent cottage with wonderful views of Dingle Bay will go back next year, my best holiday ever. May 2008.
