Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The garden of this property makes the property a retreat in itself. A great layout, good facilities, comfy beds, quiet, nature reserve and playground minutes away (walking). July 2012.
  2. A fine cottage (much larger than it looks from outside). A superb garden on seven levels - children would love to explore it. July 2011.
  3. Very pleasant, cosy cottage, more spacious than expected. Great location - nice quiet area, but still close to Bridport & seaside. Oct 2010.
  4. Good size, lovely garden, comfy sofas and nice dining area. March 2010.
  5. Excellent value for money, plenty of space and pleasant furnishings. A much higher standard than what you ’expect’ from a holiday rental. Nov 2009.
  6. Good airy feel to cottage. Good kitchen although few more utensils would be better. Small coffee table in lounge would be useful. Nice place to relax in comfort. Nov 2009.
  7. Very clean and tidy cottage as described with good extras i:e dvd’s/player radio and well equipped kitchen. Oct 2009.
  8. Very comfortable overall - beds, furnishings and kitchen equipment very good - would have been nice to see more pictures on the walls - particularly in the bedrooms - they felt a little bare! Sept 2009.
  9. Very well equipped. Convenient for lots of local dog walks and main town and the beach just a 15 - 20 minute walk away. Oct 2009.
  10. I thought the accommodation was very good. July 2009.
  11. The garden was magnificent : 7 hidden terraces. June 2009.
  12. The cottage and garden were lovely and it contained everything that we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and having a toddler the open plan kitchen and dining room was great. Would recommend cottage to all families and all ages as location meant we were near a park for children, with lovely nature walks close by and there was also a supermarket within walking distance. March 2009.
  13. The colour of your web site photos was rather over-powerful. We were glad to find the furniture considerably less brilliant/more pleasant when we arrived! We had a lovely stay. June 2009.
  14. The cottage accepts dogs as guests - there are lots of very good walks for the dog direct from the cottage. You can walk to Bridport, several villages, several pubs and the sea all via a network of footpaths. We hardly used the car at all for the first few days. May 2008.
  15. A delightful cottage in a very pretty part of the country which lots to do nearby. Cottage was extremely well equipped with lovely views from upstairs. April 2008.
  16. The cottage has everything you could possibly need. The location is fantastic for walks in the area. Especially recommend taking a walk up the garden in the evening if its a clear night and look up at the stars. Jan 2008.
