Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The property is beautifully situated right up against Richmond castle walls, with panoramic views looking west over the rest of town. The cottage itself is furnished and decorated to a very high level of both comfort and taste - nicer than home! Top tips to visit would be Richmond Castle, Muker in Swaledale, York, Durhman and Harrogate, all within a 45 min drive. Oct 2012.
  2. Amazingly convenient location in centre of Richmond, but skillful reversing required for parking your vehicle outside. Otherwise everything perfect. Would definitely recommend it and would go there again. June 2012.
  3. A lovely property in a prime location. We had an excellent stay. The cottage is a short walk to Richmond town center for shops and restaurants. Beautiful countryside all around. Within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors and Lake District a little further. May 2012.
  4. A quirky cottage, but excellent facilities and well kept. In a great location with plenty to do and see locally and in the surrounding areas. Only drawback is the parking, its convenient outside the cottage, but is down a very narrow cobbled no through road and reversing out is quite difficult. March 2012.
  5. Ingledew cottage was perfect! The location, cleanliness and overall standard was excellent. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated, as were all the herbs, spices etc which meant you could really cook in the lovely well equipped kitchen. We rarely visit places twice but will definitely make an exception here. Dec 2011.
  6. Fantastic Cottage, beautiful location over looking Culloden Tower... and Castle of Richmond. The Cottage was very well equipped with beautfiul decorations, cosy and stylish. Would definately stay here again. Will certainly try the summertime and Autumn. Dec 2011.
  7. This is a lovely cottage, clean and comfortable. just a great place to come back to at the end of a long day out and about in Yorkshire. We will be going back. Oct 2011.
  8. The location was central but quiet - the perfect balance for a weekend away. The house was beautiful with good quality fixtures and fittings even down to the type of cooking equipment and bedding. The owner was very helpful and friendly and I would be delighted to stay there again in the future. March 2011.
  9. There are no words the would do this cottage justice. It is just a beautiful gem - one of a kind I’m sure! Feb 2011.
