This attractive detached house is set on a wooded hillside overlooking the lake in the village of Huelgoat, the traditional heart of the moorland National Park in the Monts d’Arrée. On the first floor are two beautifully converted large bedrooms with exposed beams, stripped floors and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. Below is a lounge/diner with hi-fi, DVD and satellite TV and the separate kitchen is well equipped. In the basement is a games room with pool table, table tennis, darts, sateliite TV, DVD and an open fire.

The terrrace and lawned garden overlook the valley and have a barbecue and garden furniture. Huelgoat is known for its Breton tradition, with many little shops, a honey farm and a magical forest with shivering rocks and enchanted waterfalls.

For walkers and mountain bikers, this is ideal and the coast with its beautiful beaches at Roscoff and Carantec is within driving distance. There are also lake beaches nearby and a public outdoor swimming pool, in high season, only 400m from the house.

Lower ground floor: Utility room, games room. Ground floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath and basin, separate toilet, 2 twin bedrooms. First floor: Shower room with toilet and basin, 2 double bedrooms.

Oil central heating, open fire in games room, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, €35 supplement October to April, cot, highchair, colour satellite TV, video, DVD player, hi-fi, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, ample off road parking. Sorry, no pets.
