This very spacious refurbished terraced house has been tastefully decorated throughout. Set in a small private lane, not overlooked, it is close to the centre of Amble, within easy walking distance to the marina, shops, inns and harbour. Known as the ’friendliest port in Britain’, Amble is an excellent tourist base. Warkworth Castle is 1 mile away, and historic Alnwick with its majestic castle and enchanting gardens is only 9 miles. The coastal villages of Craster, Seahouses and Embleton with their glorious beaches are all a short drive. Newcastle 50 minutes. Shop and pub 200 yards, restaurant 500 yards.

Ground floor: Living room with sofa bed/dining room/kitchen. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Dishwasher. Freezer. Wi-fi. Enclosed courtyard and furniture. Barbecue. Parking (1 car). No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  1. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Because it is at the end of a lane it was very quiet and peaceful. Amble itself is a wonderful base for visiting Northumberlands coast. It has shops, pubs and a very good restaurant. The people are very friendly and we would definitely visit again. In fact both my husband and I have fallen in love with Amble. Oct 2011.

  10. A very good base for north Northumbria; castles, beaches. Comments about Amble in visitor book sort of fair, but of course this is beyond control of owners, and you should always research area first. We knew area well. June 2010.

  12. The property was a large end terrace. Very good accommodation with large fully equipped dining kitchen. The utility room was large and useful, for bikes if you take them on your holiday or outdoor equipment. For our family it was a good place for the dog. Good sized bedrooms and living room. May 2010.
