The two delightful cottages (ref RGA and RGB), surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and adjacent to the owner’s own property, are set high in the Shropshire Hills and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Both are spacious and extremely comfortable allowing guests to relax and enjoy this remarkably peaceful location. Wonderful walking from the garden gate and just a short drive away are The Stiperstones and The Long Mynd. Historic Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Ironbridge are within easy travelling distance as are the smaller, equally interesting towns of Bishops Castle, Montgomery and Church Stretton. Many country houses, castles and gardens nearby. Fishing, riding, cycling, birdwatching, ballooning and gliding available locally. Shop 800 yards.

Beamed sitting/dining room with large bay window, exposed stonework and wood-burning stove. Farmhouse-style fitted kitchen with door to patio. Shower room and toilet. First floor: Double bedroom with 6ft, zip & link bed leading to cosy single bedroom (for +1).

  12. Cottage lovely, instructions on how to use the oven would have useful. No wardrobe in bedroom, as only staying midweek was ok for us but it staying longer would have proved a problem. Overall would recommend to a friend as very comfortable and village very friendly. Sept 2007.
