  2. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. The property is very comfortable and well equipped and situated within easy reach of the village shops, pubs and restaurants. Everywhere we went was family and dog friendly. Sept 2012.
  3. Excellent property, immaculate, well furnished, lovely location - couldn’t ask for more! July 2012.
  4. Excellent property, very comfortable and in a great location. Super village, very dog friendly. Super for walking. June 2012.
  5. Hope Cottage was excellent, lots of info for local places, very well furnished, the owners were extremely helpful. A gem in the Cotswolds! May 2012.
  6. Very quiet location. Ideally sited for touring the local attractions. Friendly owner. Modern, comfortable cottage with all the amenities of home. Shops, pubs etc. very close. April 2012.
  7. Hope Cottage is in a perfect location to explore all the Cotswolds has to offer. The house is well equipped and we felt had everything you could need. It is also well served for people holidaying with their dogs with a field to the rear and many local pubs that were dog friendly, whilst serving excellent food. We would recommend the Inn at Fossebridge and The Wheatsheaf. Jan 2012.
  8. The cottage is perfectly situated for the local shops and also is only 20mins from Cirencester (for bigger shops if needed ie. Waitrose). We had a lovely meal at ’The Wheatsheaf’ and the local walks are literally on your doorstep...so you can enjoy the lovely scenery. Dec 2011.
  9. A very warm and welcoming property with good access to the whole of the Cotswolds. Northleach is a charming small village.Good dog walking from the door.Good pubs in village. I would have expected a hair dryer, dish cloth and some cleaning gear in a 5star property, but other than that it is a lovely property, with a warm welcome from the owners. Nov 2011.
  10. The cottage was very comfortable and quite spacious. A home from home. The coal fire was lovely in the evenings. Showers were very good. Lots of utensils and cutlery, but a non stick frying pan would be a good asset as we had trouble with eggs sticking! The board games, videos etc were really in good supply too. Oct 2011.
  11. Immaculate, quiet and very comfortable property, equipped with all we needed. Ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds. Lovely rural outlook from the back of the cottage. July 2011.
  12. Very clean and well maintained both inside and in the garden. Good welcome from the owner. Overall excellent accommodation. June 2011.
  13. Northleach was a really lovely unspoilt village - a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. We liked Hope Cottage because it was quiet, clean, well equipped, the decor was attractive, the garden was a real sun trap (could do with an umbrella!) and we appreciated the welcome (and cookies!) we were given on arrival. There is a playing field/play area for children and plenty of walks nearby. In the village there is a bakery, general store, post office, wine bar, pharmacy, pub (3), butchers, dolls house shop, a lovely little shop called ’The perfect whimsey’ plus a really attractive church. Plenty of amenities but still unspoilt. We would definitely recommend the cottage and the area. April 2011.
  14. The cottage is set in a great location in a quiet village. There are several friendly pubs nearby (especially The Sherbourne Arms) and it’s a great base for exploring the Cotswolds (although a car is necessary). The cottage is well equipped and fairly spacious (although we didn’t get on with the touch-operated hob!) and can’t really be faulted. The owner was friendly and helpful and lives in the next house along. April 2011.
  15. It was perfect and first class. It was truly a high class establishment and the accommodation had everything you could wish for. We were greeted by the owner who had left us milk and tea tray along with some delightful cakes for afternoon tea. It is well presented and is ideally situated for a short walk to the local shops and pub. The views from the back of the accommodation look over a playing field with a stream running alongside. Feb 2011.
  16. A lovely house which was well appointed. Our daughter was 13 months old (and just walking) when we visited and the house was very baby friendly! Oct 2010.
  17. Ideally located, well kitted out for weekend use, spacious and clean. Oct 2010.
  18. Clean, well equipped, well maintained, friendly hosts, well located etc. Aug 2010.
  19. Immaculate, high quality furnishings and spotlessly clean. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped. July 2010.
  20. An extremely comfortable and well presented cottage that is equipped and furnished to an excellent standard. A quiet and peaceful area with a lovely outlook from the small but beautiful garden. May 2010.
