The property is situated on a working farm within walking distance of the bustling market town of Bromyard. The property comprises one half of a very large converted barn, and includes a ground floor bedroom and shower room. There are plenty of exposed beams, rough cast walls and a piano, giving a rustic feel. The huge dining room/kitchen has underfloor heating. The property is situated on the borders of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, within easy reach of the Malverns, the Wye Valley, Welsh Borders and Cotswolds and enjoys unspoilt views over the countryside towards the Malvern Hills, 10 miles away. There are several recommended pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the house, in Bromyard, or catering can be arranged. Ideal for golfers.   3. We have stayed in many properties over the years and usually been very happy, however the owners were the most helpful and generous that I can recall. Home baked cakes on arrival; the loan of kitchen scales for unplanned baking and same day provision of scales for the house in case they were required again. We were also asked if the children would like to feed the lambs and our little boy was given explanations of the farm machinery and how it works. A very enjoyable location and a very spacious house well suited to children. March 2011.

  6. The Hop Bind was really great. Location perfect - 15 min easy walk to pubs, good food, shops etc. 1 min to the open fields and walks along the river bank. A real country property with open countryside all around. Owls hooting at night etc. etc. Very well equipped - plenty of space outside with table/chairs/barbecue. Best of all the big kitchen with a great table and comfy chairs where we all spent a lot of time eating, drinking, talking and enjoying each others company. We cannot find any fault with this lovely accommodation - even a freshly baked cake on the table when we arrived. Beds made up and everything provided right down to masses of toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc. April 2010.

  8. The Hop Bind was even lovelier than it looked in the pictures. Our group had such a relaxing weekend which was over far too quickly. The kitchen was a great space which we enjoyed eating and playing games in. Feb 2010.
  9. It was perfect for the make up of our group. The children enjoyed the large 3rd storey room and the adults liked the size of the kitchen and the sitting room. All round we were delighted particularly by the chocolate cake on arrival! We are hoping to book again next year. Feb 2010.

  12. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The property was very large and gave us plenty of space. The kitchen was perfect with its huge table and we loved the flowers and biscuits which greeted us on our arrival! The kids loved the trampoline. The property is in a great position, easy walking distance to Bromyard and close to lots of attractions. March 2009.

  14. We felt that the hopbine did not do itself justice. The description was accurate in what was printed but we felt that the property could have sold itself more, ie the super enormous underfloor heated kitchen and very well equipped. The extra large sitting room with comfy chairs and sofas for everyone, the small snooker table, super views and handy for the local village. Above all a very friendly and helpful owner. May 2007.
  15. Fantastic accommodation for a big family like ours, lots of space for everyone. The local walks were lovely and the position of the house made it a great base to visit the surrounding area... The Cotswalds, Malvern, Hereford, Worcester and Symonds Yat, to name a few. Aug 2007.
