This black and white character cottage has been completely renovated to provide an attractive holiday home in this beautiful part of the Welsh Marches. It is ideally situated for local walks and visiting Croft Castle (3 miles), National Trust Berrington Hall. The cottage is suitably located for touring the Malverns, the Wye Valley, the Welsh Borders and the Cotswolds. All local amenities are within walking distance including shop and post office, public house and church. The historic town of Ludlow is 10 miles, Leominister 5 miles and Hereford 20 miles. Shop 750 yards, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet. Beams throughout.

  1. Perfectly sized cottage for a small family. The garden (with garden furniture & barbecue) is convenient for small kids. Very helpful owner. Good location in pretty village (village shop, OK pub), within walking distance of Croft Castle estate and Bircher Common (NT). Good parking. Overall highly recommended. Note there isn’t a dishwasher! June 2012.

  3. Tranquil village setting, well equipped cottage with great beds. Local pub and village shop within an easy stroll. Plenty of walks to explore straight from the door step. Ludlow and Leominster within easy reach for retail and historic splendour. Plenty of Inns and restaurants serving dishes made from excellent local produce...particularly the Riverside Inn at Aymestry. July 2011.
  4. The cottage has lots of good walks without having to use the car. It was clean cosy and very much hope from home. The local pub provided good restaurant standard food. May 2011.

  6. Cottage has all mod cons, located in a beautiful rural area. The very local pub does very good food, but best to book and its not open Sunday night or all day Monday. Great location for walking. Very friendly and welcoming village. March 2011.

  13. This cottage was one of the cleanest we have hire in the last 10 years. It was well stocked with such things as kitchen utensils, spare bedding, towels etc and there was no limit on the use of heating / hot water. Feb 2010.
