Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely cottage, the best we have stayed in. Several good take-a-ways within 2 miles. Great center for walking and visiting places of interest. The surrounding countryside is so very lovely. The local people were so friendly. The local pub is dog friendly but does not at the moment serve food. Great holiday. Thanks. April 2012.
  2. Very well located for both country towns and walks in the countryside. Very peaceful location but within easy walking distance of local shops. Cottage was as well equipped as one’s own home and warm - we had plenty of showers during our stay so were glad of the heat to dry out clothing and footwear. April 2012.
  3. This is a comfortable, warm cottage kitted out as a home from home. There are books, games and plenty of crockery and cutlery. We had a very pleasant stay. April 2012.
  4. Lovely cottage, clean, comfortable warm enough even in November and we didn’t use the open fire! The automatic bathroom light was a bit of a challenge - perhaps the sensor could be adjusted to take in the shower and ignore the landing!! But overall, absolutely charming & cosy. Nov 2011.
  5. Cottage wonderful with everything you need. Caretaker and owners were very helpful and the villagers very friendly. Loved the open fire but the central heating was very efficient and made the house very cosy (more than I can say for some cottages we have visited). Loved everything about the place including the local shop - very handy. Oct 2011.
  6. A lovely cottage in a quiet location, very clean and tidy, very well equipped throughout. Oct 2011.
  7. Fantastically equipped. A real home from home within easy reach of some breath-taking scenery. A must if you’re into hill walking and wild-life. Sept 2011.
  8. Superb condition cottage in rural village. Local garage has a ’co-op’ attached for all essentials. Local chippy is excellent. Sept 2011.
  9. Cottage was really clean and had everything you needed. It was in a nice village and very restful. July 2011.
  10. Very comfortable cottage with all amenities, with pub within walking distance (albeit with limited menu). July 2011.
  11. Garden was colourful and well maintained. A tremendous introduction to the cosy cottage which had all the facilities one could need. Sept 2010.
  12. Very homely, well equipped and clean. July 2010.
  13. The location was lovely and the property was very attractive. It felt like someone’s house rather than a property to let. It was very welcoming. April 2010.
  14. High standard of cleanliness, comfortable, well-equipped, good parking, lovely area and welcoming owner. March 2010.
  15. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room to relax. Sept 2009.
  16. Comfortable, satisfactorily equipped and clean. Aug 2009.
  17. Not too far from Ironbridge, a must to go over the ’Long Mynd’ to Church Stretton. July 2008.
