1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

This attractive, detached cottage within the owner’s grounds, is in the heart of rural Somerset, a few miles from Glastonbury. Surrounded by rolling countryside, it is a peaceful holiday base to explore many attractions. Glastonbury is famous for its annual music festival, tor and abbey. The Clarks village at Street is a designer retail outlet, and Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves and the cathedral city of Wells are nearby. An easy drive is the Roman spa city of Bath, and the Mendip Hills and surrounding Somerset Levels are ideal for walkers and cyclists. Shop 4½ miles, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

Ground floor: Living room with beams and wooden floor. Dining room/kitchen. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin. Shower room with toilet.

Woodburner in living room included. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher.   2. This was a lovely cottage and much better than we were expecting from the photos. There is also downstairs toilet which was not mentioned in the description. The cottage was only built a year ago and has therefore got new fixtures and furniture. All the rooms were very spacious. It is in an ideal location to visit all the attractions nearby. July 2012.
  3. It felt like the cottage and everything in it was new and we were the first ones in it. I was expecting signs of wear and tear but everything was spotless, and the cottage had everything you could want or need. I wish I had a kitchen like that at home! June 2012.

  15. This cottage is absolutely fantastic. Cosy and modern, but with lots of lovely homely touches. It was very comfortable and in great condition, and in a good location for a holiday base. While we were there we had easy access to Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, and a few National Trust places. Also very close to Street Outlet Shopping Village (if you’re looking for retail therapy). Plenty of other places we didn’t have time to visit. Would definitely recommend, and would love to stay there again. Aug 2011.
  16. The cottage was exellent, about 1/2mile from the main road and very quiet. Easy access to both Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury about 4/5 miles in opposite directions. Sept 2011.
