Superb views over the surrounding hills and patchwork of fields can be enjoyed from this first floor holiday property, which is enviably located on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Attached to the owners’ home, with which it shares a delightful garden with fantastic views and a wildlife pond brimming with water lilies, Hollyhocks serves as a tranquil base from which to enjoy a whole host of rural pastimes. The area is a haven for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, with plenty of footpaths to explore. Locally, visit the restored water wheel at Bovey Tracey, take a trip on the steam train from Buckfastleigh to the market town of Totnes, and explore at leisure the many fine NT properties which stand proudly close by. For seaside attractions, Teignmouth and the English Riviera are within driving distance, while for excellent shopping journey to the naval town of Plymouth. Shop 3/4 mile, pub 1¼ miles.
