There is hot tub, which offers a soothing experience after a busy day exploring the countryside. With ample walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep, this property is a delight for those wishing to venture into the Dales. Nearby, the market town of Richmond provides plenty of amenities along its quaint cobbled streets and around its market square. The town is set high above the River Swale, offering panoramic views, a weekly general market and a monthly farmers’ market. The coast of North Yorkshire can also be easily explored. This is also an ideal base from which to explore Swaledale and Weardale, with many bridleways, footpaths, cycle trails and riverside walks to choose from. Other attractions include Raby Castle in Staindrop, the Bowes Museum, the market town of Barnard Castle, the historic city of York and Hamsterley Forest, with its mountain biking trails.
