Wonderful peaceful rural setting

This modern detached single storey property is set in an elevated position overlooking the surrounding countryside in the village of Gorstan, 1 mile from the village of Garve. The holiday property is well equipped, brightly decorated and furnished to a good standard. It is an ideal base to tour the Highlands, with all the main tourist attractions including; Ullapool, Inverewe Gardens, Beinn Eighe nature reserve and the scenic Isle of Skye all within easy driving distance. Local amenities include hill walking, fishing and mountaineering. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room. Kitchen. Utility room. 3 bedrooms: 2 double, one with en-suite bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet. Separate toilet.

Gas central heating and electricity included (£20per week October-March). Bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. Video and small library. Stereo/CD. Electric cooker. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Freezer. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Portable barbecue. Parking (3 cars).

  2. Holly Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was the first time we had holidayed this way and will be the only way now. Our party consisted of two adults, our elderly mothers and our dog. The garden was secure for the dog, he had a ball, we are sure that he covered every blade of grass. Our Mums were comfortable, felt safe and secure with everything. The short walk to the waterfall at the end of the turning circle was ample for them and they so enjoyed it. We had a day in Ullapool, the scenery was amazing, sat at the Harbour and just watched the world go by. Had a day shopping in Inverness. Went to Loch Ness another day to see if Nessie was in as our dog wanted to play with monster, but to no avail. This was the most relaxed chilled out holiday we have ever had. May 2012.

  4. Fantastic cottage, we climbed Ben Wyvis while here as you can see it out of the kitchen window, the road access is top hole and really couldnt fault the cottage in any way,would definitely use this property again. July 2011.

  6. Holly Cottage is just wonderful. I could not praise this accomodation enough. Not only was the cottage so comfortable and inviting, it was so well stocked..every need anticipated. The locale of the cottage is excellent for touring the Highlands..and wonderful walking country too, and even if one has to do some chores on holiday then the view from the kitchen window ..reminds one that doing the washing up can be so interesting.
