Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Very quiet location, although you can see the main road, you can’t really hear it. Nov 2012.
  2. This is a great property with fantastic facilities and grounds. The A64 is very busy and can make it difficult to get to and from the property but the kids loved it as there is plenty of room to run around and the pool is welcome at the end of the day. July 2011.
  3. We had chosen this cottage because of the location near York - and the leisure activities provided on site. The cottage was ideal for our purposes. My family felt the swimming pool area might have been in need of up-grading but they spent hours in it happily! Had I been providing info at the cottage I would have said when reception might be open, I would have indicated where the bins and re-cycling were to be found - we found them by following the refuse vehicle that came to empty them, I would have said how difficult it is to turn right on to the main road to York and advised people to turn left and then right . . .BUT it provided us with a splendidly delightful holiday and was even better than we had expected. We are - you might understand - very experienced in the use of your cottages, and were we to return to the York area would not hesitate to ask again for Cottage 14! July 2011.
  4. This property is a real gem - close to a main road but no so that you would notice it! Situated perfectly for York city or on the road to the coast. The accommodation was perfect - just what is needed for a family of four. They even provided towels for use in the indoor swimming pool with use of an outdoor barbecue. We can’t wait to go back again. April 2011.
  5. Comfortable accommodation, perfect for a small family, very peaceful holiday. We didnt see any other people even though there are a few other cottages there. Pool was lovely and perfect after a long day out to take a leisurely swim. Sept 2010.
  6. Nicely laid out plenty of room, not overlooked. Aug 2010.
  7. Great location for a short break - loads to see and do in the area. May 2008.
