1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

With direct access from the house to spectacular Dales walks and bridleways, this is an ideal location for walking, mountain biking and wildlife watching. Great care has been taken using organic materials to create an environmentally-friendly house of style and character. The village of Dent is just 2 miles, Dent station 4 miles. Shop and pub 2½ miles.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

  1. When we arrived at the property we were delighted with the location and the property far exceeded our expectations. Never have we had a property that was so well equipped and comfortable. A lot of thought must have been put into the property from the vast range of DVDs and games provided down to the extremely well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfy and the shower was a dream. June 2012.
  2. The cottage is in a stunning location, very peaceful. It is comfortable and nicely set out. Its a typically gorgeous stone dales cottage! Lots of extras i wasnt expecting like the dvds, books and games to use. The only downside was it snowed and we got snowed in but the owner is a lovely and very helpful lady. Will definitely be booking again. 5 stars from us. Feb 2012.
  3. The track to get to Hingabank is at one point very narrow, but it is only for a short stretch and you just need to take it slowly. It would be a major challenge in icy or extremely muddy weather without a 4x4. Some might consider it to be remote because of the access although it’s only 3 miles from Dent. There’s walking straight from the house although even with access land we couldn’t find a way up to Whernside without taking the longer Craven Way because of the dry stone walls. Nov 2011.

  5. Equipped to a high standard yet it retained its farmhouse charm. It was very isolated which we loved. (owever, some may find it too isolated as it was at the end of a long and winding track.) The isolation was wonderful and it was very quiet. The bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped and the whole property was very clean. Absolutely wonderful. Oct 2010.

  8. Lovely remote location. The first part of the track is only 6 ft 6 wide so was a bit tight for our 4x4, but we soon learned how to negotiate it. April 2010.

Having used your company for well over ten years this is one of very few properties that is equipped to an excellent standard putting customer comfort before the easy choice of providing minimal furnishings to maximise rental income.   17. This farmhouse exceeded expectations in location. It was just what we were looking for, an away from it all Christmas break. The farmhouse was beautifully kept and well provisioned. It was warm and comfortable at the coldest time of the year. Dec 2008.

  19. The property is very well presented and very good value for money. We would have appreciated being more aware of how remote it was from the website but the quality of the property was exceptional and we would definitely return (although only in Spring/Summer). May 2008.
  20. Certainly an ’away from it all’ holiday. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Took 3 ’Square eyed’ internet obsessed children who didn’t miss the TV or computer at all. Walked, talked, played games and listened to music. The cottage was breath taking and the ECO friendliness of it made a positive impact on all of us. The scenery was wonderful to wake up to and the sound of the stream just outside, soothing to go to sleep to. Can’t praise it all enough, could go on forever. Aug 2008.
