A public footpath and bridleway runs close by making it ideal for walking and riding direct from the door and with the Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales close at hand, it is ideal for touring. Blackpool and the Lakes lie a little further afield. Alternatively the bustling market town of Skipton is 10 miles and there are plenty of mill shops in the surrounding towns which provide quality products at discounted prices. Shop and pub 3 miles.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

  10. The cottage is homely with excellent, clean fascillities. The views are awesome. the separate barn adds to the whole experience. it is well equipped with pool table, darts and table tennis. We used it to set up our guitars and stuff for a jam. We keep going back. I reccomend it to everyone. Oct 2010.

  13. We really liked the location and country views. The scenery was fantastic and yet it was very accessible. The games room was great. The owners/farmers were very friendly and allowed us to see the new calves and milking etc. We would definitely like to stay there again. April 2010.

  15. Visited end of February 2010. Four adults and 5 children ranging from 5yrs - 14yrs. Very secluded property, views from property were amazing. Very clean and to a very high standard, beds were very comfortable and plenty of room. The property was very warm with a lovely wood burner fire (take some fire lighters and paper with you in the colder weather). The property is very remote but not to far from local town of Skipton which is lovely. Would definitely recommend the property and we are looking to return in the near future. Feb 2010.

  17. The cottage is beautifully furnished and we found the games room particularly useful. There are breathtaking views on all sides - you really feel as if you’ve got away from it all. We could happily have spent a week there just chilling. March 2009.

  20. Great place, nice and secluded, only trouble was the track up to Higher paradise was a bit rough but nice owner got the tractor out and smoothed it out then it was fine! Feb 2008.
