There is an open plan living area with vaulted ceiling and a woodburning stove. Higher Clamland adjoins a second holiday cottage and both have their own garden and shared use of woodland. North and south coasts are about 1/2 hour away, Bodmin Moor is 15 minutes and the wild beauty of Dartmoor is a short drive. The Tamar Valley AONB is close by with a wealth of magnificent old houses and gardens to visit. Fishing, horse riding, walking and cycling are available and the St Mellion golf course is within 11 miles. Visit the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Many footpaths lead from the door and a village pub/restaurant is 1½ miles. Shop 3 miles.

  7. The property has been beautifully and thoughfully renovated and decorated. Everything that is needed has been provided and the owners were welcomong and helpful. The heating system is incredibly efficient and kept us very cosy! It is located in a lovely area with plenty to explore and lovely and varied walks that are easy to get to. Dec 2011.

Very well equipped nothing was required, as the owners seemed to have covered everything, (loved the toaster) Eden project costs £20 per person, you must visit the lost gardens of Heligan £10 each and is fantastic is a whole day out, although some parts are not suitable for wheelchairs or persons who have difficulty in walking, Looe is great never seen such blue water and clean, down side was the weather, it did manage to rain part of every day, the "B" roads are very narrow with very few spaces to pull in should you meet traffic coming the other way.
