Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Dog friendly, good location very quiet. Very good accommodation. Best ever holiday with our dogs. Sept 2012.
  2. Well equipped, comfortable living space. Great surroundings lots of wildlife. Easy access to all of Cornwall and west Devon. Hosts available bug not intrusive and happy to guide where appropriate. Sept 2012.
  3. This cottage was a real home from home, with everything you needed for a holiday. Steve and Mary were extremely helpful and welcoming. They have added some superb additions to the cottage like the ’swallow cam’ and the new decking by the pond. The dog loved watching the rabbits on the garden and had lovely days in Lebrunick Doggy Day Care. We loved the welcome at the Springer Spaniel, which made Molly welcome with dog treats and our food was extremely good. A holiday even the unsettled weather could not spoil. It was lovely to be somewhere where you could only hear the birds and no traffic. Walking round the woods was a real treat seeing the local wildlife. June 2012.
  4. The location was good as this enabled us to travel across Cornwall to various places of interest. The property was first class and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. I thoroughly enjoyed the walks from the cottage and in particular it was a dog friendly cottage. March 2012.
  5. Owners were very welcoming and rightly proud of their property. They could not have been kinder or more helpful. July 2011.
  6. Owners very helpful. Springer Spaniel Pub/Restaurant nearby worth a visit but booking advisable. July 2011.
  7. Excellent Cottage - best we have stayed in. The cottage is decorated tastefully and really is a home from home. Every detail has been considered from a well-stocked kitchen to books and games (although wi-fi access would be a nice addition). June 2011.
  8. The property was "home from home" very comfortable and clean. We took our 8 month old son and property was fine for all 3 of us, and very useful having a travel cot and highchair supplied to us for our arrival. May 2011.
  9. We have had a fantastic holiday at Lower Clamland with our 2 dogs. The location was so peaceful and relaxing and the owners were really helpful. The location of the property meant that we had plenty of options of places to visit all within sensible driving distances and the local pub served a very high standard of food. The ’icing on the cake’ for us was the live feed into the property of the swallows nest and watching the young birds being fed and grow by the day. It was just a shame that we had to go home and didn’t get to see them fledge!. A nature lovers paradise and we hope to stay again in the future. May 2011.
  10. The cottage was lovely and the surroundings of Lower Clamland were beautiful. The wildlife was really enjoyable to watch. There is very little mobile coverage, which was intermittent in the cottage itself, so you feel really away from everything which was great. The owners were helpful and had some friendly dogs that popped by to say hello on occasion! April 2011.
  11. Ideal location, easy access to Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor & North Cornish Coast. Excellent for our two dogs - they especially enjoyed the pond! Easy access to local supermarket, petrol, pub & restaurant at the end of the road. Nov 2010.
  12. Wonderful converted barn in a great location run by a very friendly couple. Aug 2010.
  13. The property was very clean and built to a high standard and excellent facilities - the grounds were excellent and in an ideal location for exploring the Tamar Valley, North Cornwall and South Cornwall. June 2010.
  14. Finished to a good spec, the location ideal for a relaxing and quite time. June 2010.
  15. Well and tastefully furnished and decorated. Really liked the priority of being ecologically sound. The slate floors were great too. May 2010.
  16. Beautifully appointed, very welcoming owners, lovely and peaceful location, would definitely return, a charming property and thoroughly relaxing holiday. May 2010.
  17. Well equipped with modern, branded appliances. Ideal for holidaying with a dog. Lovely surroundings. May 2010.
  18. This is a very well equipped cottage. The decoration was extremely tasteful and overall it was very comfortable. Dec 2009.
  19. Very clean. Well equipped with everything you could want. Nov 2009.
  20. It was very clean and very well equipped. Sept 2009.
