Property Description

This tranquil, comfortable and very well appointed barn conversion is set within an acre of private gardens with views over rolling countryside and the Caerhays Estate. This is a great place to relax and escape life’s hustle and bustle. Mevagissey, with its pubs and restaurants, is just a few minutes drive away, as is sleepy Gorran Haven. The Lost Gardens of Heligan with its incredible rhododendron collection and fascinating history is close by, as are many pristine beaches, coves and cliff walks. There is both a village shop and pub 2 miles away in Gorran. Alternatively, try the locally sourced produce at a local farm shop or pop into the tea rooms at the Lost Gardens of Heligan for tea or lunch. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

  1. Highcote is a lovely property, clean and very comfortable. It has everything you need particularly in the kitchen. It is peaceful and the garden was lovely with lots of wildlife to look at. The range of board games ,dvds and books provided is excellent. June 2012.
