1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Set just a short distance from the wonderful beaches at Polzeath and Rock and surrounded by countryside, this modern, detached holiday home boasts extensive views over open countryside from the large picture window in the living and dining-room from where guests can access the large balcony. Enjoy alfresco dining or a glass of wine from here while taking in the miles of Cornish countryside; it is also an excellent place for stargazing! This holiday cottage is fitted to a high standard and is tastefully decorated and furnished. The two double bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and the family bathroom has a walk in shower and a feature roll top bath. The master en-suite bedroom has French doors leading onto the balcony.
High View is situated close to the many tourist attractions that Cornwall has to offer including Port Isaac, Boscastle, and Tintagel which is the mythical home of King Arthur. Padstow can also be visited, either by road or by taking the short ferry crossing from Rock (2 miles), with its many shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein’s. Hire a cycle from here and cycle the Camel Trail, a disused railway line that goes along the banks of the Camel Estuary and through to Bodmin. Also close by are the many fantastic surfing beaches at Newquay and Jamie Oliver’s restaurant Fifteen at Watergate Bay is also worth a visit. The North Cornwall Coastal Path can be easily accessed where visitors can enjoy the views of the dramatic rugged coastline and Bodmin Moor with its tors and historical monuments is approximately 9 miles. Shops and pub 1 mile.

  1. Great big upside down house with everything we could want. Glad there were no holiday makers in the houses either side. Great location for visiting the areas of Port Issac and Bodmin Moor which were top of my list. Three miles from Rock and the passenger ferry that goes over to Padstow. Missed not having a welcome pack on our arrival which seems to be the norm with most other houses I’ve stayed in. May 2012.
  2. Spotless property with plenty of room. Comfortable beds, clean ben linen and towels - well presented. Well equipped kitchen. Friendly and efficient caretaker - shower in main bathroom was blocked, but was cleared the next morning. Well located as a base for exploring Cornwall.   3. Really lovely villa in a countryside setting, plenty of space for two families, comfortable and well equipped with great views from huge balcony. Nicely placed for area around Rock/Padstow and wider. Need a car as not that easy to walk to local pub/shop with children, but we all really enjoyed our week here, with great weather it would be even better! Aug 2011.

This is a perfect base for walking and activity holidays and is extremely well equipped for mixed groups with many TVs, 3 bath/shower rooms, a large square entrance hall and good washing and cooking facilities. The balcony and barbecue area offer relaxing evenings and the beds are very comfortable! The modern design and high quality finish give the holiday a feeling of luxury and excitement. July 2011.
  5. We loved the open plan of the accommodation which allowed our extended family to spend quality time together. The kitchen was very well equipped and all of the facilities were good. We had a great time and loved the views, the lovely bedrooms and the very adequate storage facilities. The following comments are not an expression of dis-satisfaction but:- An internet connection would have helped us enormously. We didn’t bother switching on the televisions in the bedrooms because they were so small. The clothes drier seemed very slow and inefficient. June 2011.

  10. Loved the layout and really enjoyed the views from the balcony which could be accessed from outside steps as well as from inside. The beds were extremely comfortable and TVs in each room was so convenient. I always look for comfortable looking big sofas when choosing a property - I was not disappointed. The utility room was very useful as the fact that the boiler was in there made it warm enough to dry wet macs. Sept 2010.
