Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A beautiful home surrounded by stunning mountains! Aug 2012.
  2. Brilliant location for walkers and birdwatchers. Nearby Old Mill Bakehouse in Talgarth well worth a visit for delicious lunch. Pub in Pengenffordd, The Castle, has very limited opening hours so don’t rely on this for food/entertainment - we made our own! Plenty of room in house for 11 of us - z-bed was comfy, too, apparently. A fantastic place to spend a significant birthday - and blessed with the weather, though even if it had been cold the cottage was cosy and well-heated. Loved it and would love to go back. Feb 2012.
  3. We really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic location. Brilliant place to accommodate a party of people. Feb 2012.
  4. Accommodation was clean and spacious (8 adults). Well equipped kitchen, great showers after a day walking; entrance ’lobby’ and drying area was very useful. Log ’fire’ very warming and relaxing in the evening. Good location for walking from and close to other walking areas. Crickhowell nearby had good pubs for food etc (The Bridgend Inn or The Bear) unfortunately the local pubs were shut. Feb 2011.
  5. Lovely property with lots of land around for the kids to play safely. The six bedrooms worked out fine for us, and the whole house was really cosy especially because of the snow outside. Dec 2010.
  6. The property was excellent, well furnished and clean. Oct 2010.
  7. Was very suitable for our needs. Sept 2010.
  8. I was surprised how good the amenities were, usually you struggle for fridge space but there was penty. The turntable and records were a treat, very nice touch. Sept 2010.
  9. The pictures didn’t do it justice, the coittage was lovely, absolutely stunning! You should have more pics on the website as you are not selling it to it’s full potential! Aug 2010.
  10. Beautiful setting, but easily accessible. Very well-equipped and characterful house. Pine furniture throughout gave a lovely cottage feel. July 2010.
  11. The interior was very welcoming and clean. The exteior was perfect for our large family, with a fully functional BBQ as a bonus. June 2010.
  12. The cleanest house we ever had, very cosy. April 2010.
  13. The location is excellent for walking. The grounds were good for the children and adults to play in. The house was well set up with everything we needed. Should have remembered a radio for the kitchen area though. Loved the utility area/drying room - great area to get changed out of wet and muddy clothes. some noise transmission between floors due to beamed ceilings. Great to have access to a real log burner. Feb 2010.
  14. Just lots of space for 12 people, excellent showers and bath room, great utility room for drying wet clothes etc. Jan 2010.
  15. Large comfortable house with relaxed atmosphere. Felt homely and welcoming. Very clean and good size ratio for amount of bedrooms. Jan 2010.
  16. Pictures don’t do the accommodation justice, new bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. Great place to spend a relaxing break. Dec 2009.
  17. Very spacious and clean. Wonderful views. Nov 2009.
  18. Perfect for our family holiday, plenty of room. Padlocks on cupboards was not very nice, proper locks fitted would have made it look nicer and more friendlier. Having linen cupboard open and available would be good. Lovely clean bathrooms. Sept 2009.
  19. A quiet property with good space. A comfortable place to stay for a relaxing break. July 2009.
  20. Perfect for groups of friends or family to relax or be active. Having the pub so close to the end of the drive, it’s ideal to get out of cooking. June 2009.
