Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The Cottage was much bigger than I expected from the photos. There is a well equipped kitchen with a table the whole family could sit down for breakfast in. Just down the hallway they is a large living room with two large windows giving a wonderful view across the bay of Holyhead where you can watch the ferries enter and leave the port. Back down the hall opposite the kitchen was the snug another fair sized room with comfortable seating for 5/6 people. Off this room is a separate dining room (we didn’t use this room as we ate all our meals in the kitchen). To the back the is a smaller sun room with double doors that open to the garden. There was also large utility room, shower room and toilet and twin bedroom. Upstairs the is a very large master bedroom which also has the fantastic views over the bay. Another double room with views over the garden and two single rooms. Outside there is a large garden to the rear is ideal for families with children. Plenty of parking to the side (some building works where a nearby building is being converted, looks like work is on hold for a while). It was just a mile (or 20 minutes walk down a very quiet country lane) to the nearest beach. It is about 15 minutes walk to the local post office the only shop we found in the village. A few miles down the road in Valley there is a 24hr Spar and a number of takeaway shops and pubs. June 2012.
  2. An excellent holiday home. Very clean and comfortable. Pictures does not do this holiday home justice. July 2011.
  3. We liked the querky layout and garden. Dec 2010.
  4. The property is much bigger than the impression created by the website description, with plenty of space for our party of seven. The garden is large and very pleasant. The property is isolated giving peace and quiet and privacy. Aug 2010.
  5. Very spacious accommodation overall. The sitting-room was particularly roomy and light. Bedrooms were also a good size. Aug 2010.
  6. In a peaceful location. Plenty of space, nice, large garden. Aug 2009.
  7. Excellent location, the house was well equipped and clean. Sept 2007.
