This is a truly peaceful holiday haven from which to walk direct from the door and is well placed for touring both the Yorkshire Dales and the Trough of Bowland with both Blackpool and the historic city of York for alternative days out. The market town of Skipton is just 12 miles and boasts a Norman castle standing proudly at the top of the wide cobbled high street. Shops and pub 21/2 miles.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

  1. We picked this cottage as we thought it would be the ideal location as were were actually getting married in the week of our stay and this would be our honeymoon too! It was in a stunning position on the top of a hill with the dales surrounding it. The cottage was beautiful throughout and everything had been thought of. The cleanliness was exceptional, the wine, chocolates, milk and tea and coffee and fresh flowers were a lovely personal tough that we really appreciated.
