This holiday home boasts a magnificent farmhouse kitchen and a beautifully peaceful valley setting at the foot of the Quantocks. The Quantocks are a range of beautiful moorland hills stretching from the coast to Taunton with panoramic views of the Welsh coast, up to Glastonbury and across to Exmoor and the Brendon Hills. Hearn Lodge adjoins the owner’s property Hearn Farm and is completely self-contained with its own attractive gardens, apple tunnel and large conservatory. The property is exceptionally spacious and is ideal for family and friends to get together. There is also access to 12 acres of fields adjoining the property, making this ideal for bird watching and wildlife. This is marvellous walking country, and an ideal base for exploring Exmoor and the North Devon coast. Sandy beach 10 miles. Minehead and Dunster half an hour. Horse riding nearby. Shops 1 mile, cream teas, pub food ½ mile.

First floor: Three attractive bedrooms; one double with en-suite bathroom with toilet, one twin and one single. Bathroom with separate shower cubicle and toilet.

  16. The property was of the highest standard - high quality in all senses. It was spacious, elegant and very comfortable with the most well equipped large country kitchen and a beautiful herb garden and lawns. Hills in the distance, sheep and lambs in fields through windows on one side and horses in fields on the other. Very rural but only a short ride to the sea and a variety of villages and towns nearby. The weather was variable but with such wonderful surroundings it did not matter at all! May 2009.
  17. Great location, quiet with good views. Very narrow lane to approach - but mercifully short. We had lots of practice in reversing the car! July 2009.
  18. We had a wonderful break at Hearn Lodge despite the dismal weather. There was a lovely welcome basket on arrival and great information for local days out in the house. The house feels like a real home and we really didn’t want to leave at the end - breakfast in the conservatory watching the sheep will be remembered for a long time. We will be coming back next year.. Such a lovely, roomy farmhouse in an amazing location - exceptional to have such space in a 3 bedroom property. July 2009.
