Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The accommodation was truly first class, the welcome pack was the best we have had. There was nothing we needed during our stay, the owners had thought of everything. Lovely views. Feb 2012.
  2. We found the location perfect! It was a lovely drive to lots of beautiful places and down the secluded farm lane you had access to the main roads, so easy to get about. The barn itself was gorgeous! It was first class and so clean and cosy. We loved the open plan, topsy-turvey layout. The children loved the garden and playing with the friendly dog. Seeing the children enjoy the countryside while we snuggled up in front of the wood burner made this one of the best, most relaxing holidays we’ve had in years. (We usually go abroad). We have already booked for next summer but for 10 nights! Oct 2011.
  3. Excellent cottage. Extremely comfortable and well furnished. Will definitely be booking to stay again. Oct 2011.
  4. All we wanted and needed, but so much more. Well equipped, small additional touches made a great start to the holiday. Aug 2011.
  5. Third stay at the cottage, fantastic welcome package. Excellent accommodation, and friendly owners. Couldn’t ask for more. Aug 2011.
  6. Hayloft is a beautiful cottage and just what we hoped for, the playground was great for our two kids, we would stay here again if we visit north Cumbria again. Aug 2011.
  7. Excellent accommodation, lovely owners. Will definitely stay again. Aug 2011.
  8. Was very clean, and beautifully presented on arrival. Loved the fact that the cottage had the living accommodation on the first floor and bedrooms downstairs. Oct 2010.
  9. Lovely high standard property, everything you need felt very at home, quiet and relaxed! Sept 2010.
  10. We have stayed previously, knowing how fantastic it was we rebooked. Aug 2010.
  11. The owners seemed to have thought of everything and were very helpful. July 2010.
  12. Lovely accommodation, finished to a very high standard. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch and the toys in the cottage were great for our 5 year old, as is the trampoline etc in the play area! Helpful, friendly owners. We hope to go back again soon! April 2010.
  13. Immaculate and sympathetically decorated with all of the mod-cons that you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful views towards the National Park and a well equipped play area to keep young children happy. The owners are friendly and the welcome box is a real treat. April 2010.
  14. Clean, well decorated, spacious, bright, welcome pack provided, trampoline for kids, best equipped kitchen in any cottage we’ve stayed in- in summary, the cottage exceeded our expectations, which is unusual. April 2009.
  15. It was just fab! Beautifully presented - and immaculately clean. March 2010.
  16. Contemporary, bright, spacious and peaceful. Feb 2010.
  17. Peaceful, rural location excellent to get away from it all. Cottage equipped to very high standard with many little extras that made the holiday all the more pleasurable. Aug 2009.
  18. Beautiful countyside, quiet and tucked away cottage yet only a short drive to the Lakes. Great owners who leave you to get on and enjoy your holiday, yet are there if you need them. July 2009.
  19. Stayed in many holiday cottages and this was by far the best. We had plenty of space as there was only 2 of us but even with 6 people it would still be roomy. The owners were more than helpful (even lent us there bikes). Local pub The Oddfellows served good food so we visited every night and felt like a local by the time we left. Stay here if you get a chance. June 2009.
  20. The accommodation couldn’t be faulted. New, clean and homely. Plus small welcoming touches on arrival such as milk in the fridge. July 2009.
