1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Set on the edge of one of Shropshire’s most quintessentially English towns, this well-presented, detached, limestone cottage has been furnished to a high standard throughout. Set along a main road, there is easy access to Much Wenlock with its variety of shops and restaurants, as well as St Millburga’s Abbey, holy wells, whipping posts and Olympian artefacts. Most of the buildings are architectural gems from the medieval, Georgian and Victorian eras. Walks from the door lead along the magnificent Wenlock Edge escarpment, and easy drives to Church Stretton (with gliding centre), Cardingmill Valley, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury. Shops 500 yards.

  2. We had a very comfortable stay at the Havelock Cottage. The owner is extremely helpful. Location of the property is about 10 mins walk from the High Street which is not a problem. Aug 2011.
  3. House was immaculate and we were given a thorough tour and safety talk. We were made welcome by the owner, and the cottage was ideally located for local attractions. There was only on aspect we were not used to, and that was the nearby road and the associated traffic noise, however the house was really comfortable and well equipped. Aug 2011.
  4. Lovely welcome by the owner who gave us a detailed tour of the cottage. Also she dealt promptly with a dishwasher problem during the week. The location is on a road by a junction that gets busy at ’going to work’ time (so some traffic noise), otherwise it is excellent for the Shropshire Hills. July 2011.

  19. Good central location for visiting places of interest in the area. Local supermarket at garage on Bridgnorth Road was well stocked and worth doing your shopping there. Shops in Much Wenlock were also good and most staff in them were very friendly and helpful. July 2009.
  20. Much Wenlock was an excellent place from which to base our holiday, giving access to many places to visit both within walking distance and in the car. The property is spacious and generally well very equipped. The linen is all fresh and clean. The mattresses were all very comfortable. Having two bathrooms and three toilets was a real luxury!
