1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

These 4 quality and characterful barn conversions, located on a working farm, are set in striking ’White Peak’ scenery and each enjoys one of the most breathtaking views in the Peak Park, across to the jagged and dramatic Crome Edge, to Axe Edge and down to the pretty stone built village of Earl Sterndale. Three of the properties (refs 10847, 10848 and 10849) are single-storey properties, whilst Jerusalem Cottage (ref 9603), 120 yards from the other properties, is a 4 level conversion which features a galleried bedroom, split-level living room and a quality kitchen. Their creative conversion has given the properties individual charm with old stone arches, high vaulted ceilings and some original beams and some are suited to partially disabled guests (Harebell (10848) has 4 steps up to the front door but also has level access). There are simply lovely walks to the edges across the valley, with Hartington, Dovedale and Bakewell an easy drive, and the cultural spa town of Buxton 4 miles. Climbing at the Roaches, 5 miles, and Froggatt, caves at Castleton, Chatsworth and Alton Towers all under 25 minutes drive. The holiday properties may be booked together for larger families. Shop 2 miles, pub ½ mile.

4 steps and level access to entrance from rear garden. All on first floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen with beams and arrowslit windows. 3 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom and toilet, 2 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Fridge/freezer.

All properties: NSH, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. Video. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Patio and chairs. Open garden area. Shared barbecue. Ample parking.

  1. We booked this cottage with my brother in law in mind. He had a stroke last year, and mobility is now limited. The location of the cottage was ideal to access buxton, bakewell and lots of other places, which are close by. The cottage was everything that we had hoped for. All on one level and with two bathrooms. It had every comfort that you could need. Also the kitchen was very well equiped to accommodate a wide variety of cooking and utensils. There was milk already in the fridge for us, even a packet of chocolate biscuits. We would certainly stay there again, and also recommend it to friends and family. Well done welcome cottages. June 2012.
  2. There was tea, biscuits and milk waiting for us on arrival. The weather was quite dreadful for our weekend away, but it was November! However the accommadation was cosy and warm and clean so no issues. Nov 2011.

  4. The property wasn’t easy to find but that was no fault of the owner it was the road signs or lack of them that caused some confusion. The property was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was small but adequately stocked with things you would need for a comfortable stay. March 2011.

The cottage was equipped with everything you would ever need, including a full range of kitchen equipment and utensils, extra blankets, plenty of towels, toiletries and pretty much anything you can think of. The owner is obviously an expert at catering for everyones needs. We were welcomed with tea, fresh milk and biscuits to start us off and the cottage is idyllic, warm and comfortable. This is our second visit and there will definitely be another. Feb 2011.
