  1. The accommodation was booked for five adults and one child under five. We had an excellent break the accommodation was very spacious and comfortable for all the family. The reason I have marked the fixtures and fittings as fair is due to the en-suite shower head falling off and the main bathroom shower fixture been loose. This is the only down side, other wise a very enjoyable stay. Sept 2012.

Well equipped property, however, visiting in March we thought that the owner could have taken advantage of the winter and done some routine maintenance, ie minor leaks on both toilets, shower pipe and sealant damaged in the en-suite, and damaged plaster in the lounge & bathroom. Small things, yes, but fixing them would have made a good property great. March 2012.

  5. This is a fabulous property, don’t let the low price fool you into thinking it will be low quality. It was furnished to a high standard, had everything we could have possibly wanted (including a mini sewing kit in a kitchen drawer), and it is in a prime location to stroll into Whitby town centre, or to the Abbey.   6. This an excellent property. We had 4 adults and 3 young children in our party and the house was suitable for us all though floor boards are noisy - not good with children running everywhere! Oct 2011.
  7. Good location. Approx 10-15mins from Whitby centre. All in all very good property to stay in to explore Whitby and surrounding area. Sept 2011.
  8. Very comfortable house with excellent facilities. The owners thoughtfully provided milk, tea, coffee sugar etc, cleaning products including dishwasher tabs & washing powder, salt & pepper etc, so we could have left half of what we brought at home. They even provided fuel for the bar-be-que and when I looked in the freezer there was a bag of ice for my G&T! What with the October heatwave & a fab fish & chip shop down the road, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday - thank you! Sept 2011.

The house was lovely well decorated with some lovely pictures and very well stocked it seems that everything was thought of.There was plenty of room and even towels were provided even though we had been asked to provide them. The courtesy basket of tea coffee biscuits and sugar and the carton of milk in the fridge was a very welcome surprise. Aug 2011.

  15. Ideal home for a large family or group. Liked the fact there was a bedroom downstairs for us oldies and a separate toilet. The utility room was ideal and the property had a nice enclosed garden which was safe for the children. There was also a small play park at the rear of the property which was great as the children could play before we were organized for our trips out and in the early evening when we were preparing a meal. The kitchen/dining area was well equipped and could comfortably seat 8 + the high chair. The TV in the lounge was modern and big - great for watching sport. July 2010.
  16. The property was well maintained and very clean with lots of information provided for days out, restaurants to eat at or take aways which we used a quite a lot. I would recommend this property to anyone and would certainly use it again. June 2010.
