Harbour View enjoys a wonderful setting just yards from a sandy beach in the village of Portmahomack. Sea trips, fishing and water sports along with golf, bird and dolphin spotting are some of the variety of amenities this area has to offer. This house is a super base for exploring the north and east Highlands. Fantastic scenery along with quiet beaches and forest trails will make this a holiday to remember. Lots to see and do for all ages – castles and distilleries all within easy reach. Within striking distance of internationally renowned golf courses such as Royal Dornoch and Skibo Castle, while Loch Ness is less than an hour away. Shop, pub and restaurant 30 yards.

  5. Photos don’t do it justice, it is much larger and a really lovely property. Warm and cosy, right on the seafront, bedrooms easily would accommodate 6, great facilities, playpark literally right behind the house, beach superb for digging (you’ll have guessed there are children!), running and walks along the coast from the door.   7. It was lovely and clean and well furnished. It was in the most ideal place just looking out to sea what more could we ask for. Child and dog friendly a great place. Caretaker came round just after we got there to make sure all was well and how to work everything. Brilliant holiday. Aug 2010.
  8. The garden was large and completely enclosed which was great for our dog and there was an extra shower room and wc downstairs which I don’t think was mentioned in the description. We felt part of the village being right at the front. Aug 2010.

  16. Portmahomack is an outstanding village and perfect location for a relaxed family holiday. The views from the property cannot be beaten, they are stunning. The property is ideally located right on the harbour front and the sweeping sandy beach, which is also dog friendly. Whatever the weather Portmahomack does not disappoint in any way. Very spacious property in idyllic location. Well equipped kitchen with large farmhouse style table and lovely window seat. Aug 2009.
  17. The setting opposite the harbour was fantastic, and the property was of a good clean and well equipped standard, other than the matresses were a bit on the cheap and very soft side, but other furnishings were good. July 2009.
