The building on three levels has been tastefully renovated and furnished to provide spacious holiday accommodation retaining many original features including mill stone and large oak beams. Overlooks the river and its wooded banks. Easy access to Offa’s Dyke, Wye Valley, black and white villages, footpaths direct from the property. Hay-on-Wye 8 miles, Kington 5 miles. Good pubs, restaurants, golf and riding locally.

Ground floor: Dining room/kitchen with beams. Shower room with toilet. First floor: Living room. Second floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 twin leading through to 1 double.

Woodburner in living room included. NSH, electricity and bed linen included. Cot. High chair. Video. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Garden furniture. Parking (2 cars).

  1. The mill is excellent value for money. Well stocked and clean. At the beginning of October we found it warm and cosy. Wonderful views and walks right from the door. We found it a dog’s paradise, although there are sheep/cattle in the neighbouring fields. The owner couldn’t be more helpful, but is not intrusive. Sept 2012.

  5. Fabulously atmospheric old converted watermill, not luxurious but cosy, comfortable and with everything you need. Property on three floors so you need to be fit. Parts of the old mill workings are a feature of this building and much fun was had working out how it all must have been in it’s heyday. The location is so quiet and peaceful with the pretty river Arrow running past the window. Plenty of fantastic walks from the door. Kington and Hay on Wye only a few minutes drive away. The owner, is a lovely lady, friendly and very helpful. Sept 2011.

  16. Set in a lovely location, off the beaten track so very quiet and peaceful. Ideal for ramblers as many many walks very nearby. Superb for dog owners particularly those who like swimming as river is next to the accommodation. The mill itself is very cosy, but does need updating in the kitchen and in particular, the shower room. Sept 2009.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
