Property Description

Situated on the outskirts of the pretty and popular North Devon village of Hartland this good size bungalow makes an excellent all year round destination for a relaxing holiday or to explore the beautiful local countryside and dramatic coastline. The village centre is only a short walk away where there is access to shops, pubs and local pottery and furniture shops. The area has many lovely beaches to explore, or visit the owners nearby clifftop farm where you can see all the animals from baby lambs to ’Hank’ the donkey. Take a short walk to the beautiful cove just down from the farm or wander along the coastal paths. Shops and pubs within walking distance.

All on ground floor: Living room with patio doors/dining room. Kitchen. Sun room. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Separate toilet.

  3. March 12 - Lovely bungalow, the cake wine and milk were a lovely thought. Next doors dog is nice too, had found a way into the garden which took us by surprise a little - but he was friendly. Perhaps a fence at the back of the garden would be a good idea, but apart from that you have a really nice holiday destination and we will be back. March 2012.

  5. Lovely big airy bungalow, went in November so weather not great, but bungalow had a huge garage, so unloading in the dry was a big plus. Would recommend. For drier months, the garden is huge and ideal for pets/children. Nov 2011.
  6. Bungalow was clean and spacious. Appliances plently, and in good working order - well supplied with bedding, tea towels and oven gloves. Could have done with dishwasher powder provided but washing up liquid was available. Lovely welcome with home made cake, milk and wine. Good location base to explore Hartland Abbey/Point, Clovelly, Bude etc. Also not far from the village where there are a few places to eat, a local shop for essentials & a fish/chip shop. August 2011.
  7. Bungalow was very comfortable and very clean. Excellent location for visiting parts of Devon and Cornwall. Garden was mature and enclosed which allowed us to let Abbie (dog) have some freedom. Village had shops and post office and several places to eat and locals were very friendly. Welcomed with fresh milk, lemon cake and a bottle of wine which was very thoughtful and unexpected. We would definitely stay there again. June 2011.

  18. We think that Haines is quite the nicest Bungalow we have ever stayed at. Everything was very clean and well presented. Heated to Satisfaction and a lovely place to stay. Very Very Comfortable. Could have been more china in order to use the dishwasher to its advantage. Sept 2009.
