  2. On the whole a very enjoyable holiday, with good walking nearby and terrific scenery. The accommodation was superb and felt like a real home from home. The owners of the property were a super couple and their dog Bailey made friends with our Irish Setter, Hattie and they really made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend this property. April 2012.
  3. Excellent quiet location, fantastic to be able to let dogs out in the garden. Owners very friendly and small things like tea coffee milk and cake upon arrival make all the difference. Will definitely return. March 2012.
  4. The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was a rel home from home with everything you could wish for. A wonderful location with stunning vista’s from the lounge and bedrooms. The owners made us more than welcome and suggested things ton do and see. Our two cavalier dogs enjoyed the company of Bailey the owners collie with masses of garden to play in. My wife and I have no hesitation in recommending this holiday cottage and we look forward to returning in the future. March 2012.
  5. We thought the standards were superb - everything was just as you would like to find it, even ample logs to keep the fire going! We would love to return in the summer when I am sure we could enjoy the property and its surroundings even more. Many thanks to the owners for ensuring our short break was over and above what we expected! Jan 2012.
  6. Fantastic property in a fab location. Hosts prepared lovely touches such as cake and fresh flowers on arrival... would recommend this highly to anyone. Nov 2011.
  7. The cottage was presented beautifully. There was fresh milk & lovely cake on arrival. The location is a great base for further adventures or a quiet retreat. The cottage was not short of any facilities that we found. The garden is fabulous. The cottage has 2 double bedrooms, the 1st bedroom is very spacious and so glad that the owners didnt cram in a 3rd bedroom. Nov 2011.
  8. The cottage was beautiful, with everything you could possibly need provided. Every detail to the bed linen, towels and bath robes were of the best quality. Dogs are allowed which was fantastic for our Golden Retriever. The owners were helpful and willing to answer questions on the area. Sept 2011.
  9. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hadrians Garden Cottage and have decided to return next year to further explore the area. Also the owners were very attentive and prepared an excellent meal for our first night at the cottage. Sept 2011.

  12. A beautiful cottage in an equally beautiful location. We felt relaxed and comfortable from the moment we arrived to when we reluctantly had to leave. The owners were friendly and made us feel welcome straight away and ensured that we were settled in on arrival. Our 2 kids particularly enjoyed the amazing garden, (and a large collection of books, DVD’s games and jigsaws in the cottage meant that even on a rainy day they would not be bored). The property, views from the balcony & terrace, garden, quiet location and short drive to the local attractions & amenities, not to mention Lynda & James’s hospitality, all combined made this a perfect getaway for us. We are already planning our next visit. June 2011.
  13. Lovely peaceful cottage/great gardens/lovely location & helpful owners. Had been left tea/coffee/milk/home made cake. Provided with luxurious fluffy bath towels and most bathroom toiletries. Plenty of games/jigsaws & DVD’s for wet weather. Great break. May 2011.
