Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The whole holiday was great the accommodation was excellent and the house was so clean we have been to gull cottage for the last four years and each time it has been fantastic. June 2012.
  2. A great location with excellent parking-easy and right at the front door. Tescos supermarket is close by and it is also close enough to walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Lovely food provided on arrival and overall a great place to stay. Jan 2012.
  3. Overall very clean and well proportioned cottage in perfect location for a gentle walk into town. Decor & furnishings were a bit dated although kitchen was very good. Caretaker left a cream tea and chocs for the kids on their pillows which was a nice touch. July 2011.
  4. Gull Cottage is in a convenient location with beautiful views of the camel Estuary from the bedroom windows. There was everything you could need in the cottage, very well equipped for cooking, which we did several times after buying local fish and crab. An easy walk into Padstow but a challenging walk up the hill home. Excellent location for cycling or walking the camel trail. A handy Supermarket within walking distance made it a perfect place which we plan to return to next year. July 2011.
  5. Spotlessly clean. Welcome pack/cream tea, a lovely touch and very enjoyed. Feb 2011.
  6. Property was very very clean - the caretaker Sharon also posted my skirt back to me that I had left at the cottage! Thank her so much please on my behalf. Cream tea was left in the fridge, plus some milk. A welcome touch. Aug 2010.
  7. Gull Cottage is ideally situated just a 10 min walk from the harbour and a short distance from a weel equipped Tesco. The cottage was clean and well presented and had everything we needed. Could not have been happier. June 2010.
  8. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac but very close to the local supermarket and a 15min walk into Padstow. We stayed in a property close by last year, but this property had the advantage on an extra bedroom. It was very clean and nicely presented, not too many nic-nacs to be moved (as we have a 2 year-old child!). The two single bedrooms were small but perfect for two small children and had the best views over the estuary. Small enclosed garden which got the sun in the afternoon. Very nice welcome, as a cream tea was left for us. Only issue was the very noisy washing machine, glad we didn’t put it on at night. June 2010.
  9. This property worked perfectly for us, easy walking distance to Padstow but far enough out to be away from the touristy hustle bustle! May 2010.
  10. The accommodation was first class and the cream tea provided was a welcoming touch. May 2010.
  11. We have been to this cottage in 2003, 2004 and 2005. We always liked it, but the kitchen had been updated and re-equipped and it was even better. We like to do our own cooking some of the time and the quality of the equipment was excellent. The caretaker, Sharron, had made it welcoming by leaving the lights on and even music playing. There was also a cream tea in the fridge! The whole cottage was immaculate and we have already booked for the same time next year. Oct 2009.
  12. Lovely little house, very warm, clean and comfortable. Standard of equipment, furnishings etc was superior to other places we have stayed. Fabulous view from back bedrooms. Padstow centre is walkable but be prepared for steep climb on way back. We found walk preferable as parking was always full and quite expensive. Oct 2009.
  13. Location and presentation was fantastic. Sept 2009.
  14. Had everything we needed, clean and tidy, lots of useful information about the area, close to Tesco. Aug 2009.
  15. Fantastic access to Padstow solely because of the car space. Supermarket at end of the road. Lovely sea views from rear of property. Good access to rest of area for sight seeing.. Very welcoming and very prettily furnished. Lovely new kitchen and a good range of equipment available for our use. There was even a cream tea in the fridge! Very thoughtful touch. Aug 2009.
  16. Fantastic property, close to Padstow harbour, but far enough away to be peaceful. Very cosy and warm for winter break. Everything very clean and as new. Cream tea waiting was a lovely touch, excellent value for money, would return again. March 2009.
  17. Everything we required was catered for, we had a really enjoyable time. Dec 2008.
  18. The condition of Gull Cottage was the best that we have ever stayed in. The cottage was really clean (like new) and very well maintained. Its was a pleasure to stay there. May 2008.
