1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Bordering on three scenic counties within the Peak National Park, this holiday cottage was once the barn to the farmhouse on the owner’s 15 acres of land. Guests are invited to walk, picnic and visit the sheep and horse which share the grounds, here. The spectacular outcrop of the famous Ramshaw Rocks offers good climbing. An excellent location for touring with ease of access to Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Buxton, and Ashbourne with the famous potteries and shops at Stoke On Trent. Pub ½ mile, shop 5 miles.

Ground floor: Living room with beams. Dining room/kitchen. Open tread stairs to first floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

NSH, electricity and bed linen included. Cot. High chair. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared garden area with paddock and furniture. Two well behaved pets welcome (livestock). Parking (2 cars).

  1. Fabulous holiday accommodation photos do not do justice. Lovely central location, easy to get around. Owners of Grouse cottage were very friendly and informative. It was lovely to share time with the donkeys, pigs and calves. They made a very relaxing atmosphere when sitting in the garden. Will definitely be returning to the Grouse Cottage. May 2012.

  9. This was far, far better than we imagined - the pictures don’t convey how beautiful, how private inviting the cottage is. The ability to walk out the front door and up the hills was magical; the cottage itself beautifully set up, with well-thought out toys for the kids and extremely comfortable in every respect. The rooms are a pleasure to look at, calm and relaxing. Fantastic. June 2009.
