Property Description

This comfortably furnished and well presented semi-detached cottage is set in open countryside along a well maintained track, with far reaching views over upper Wensleydale to the front of the property and Ais Gil and Wild Boar Fell to the rear. There is a wood burning stove in the cosy sitting room and a comfortable and peaceful conservatory to relax and take in the views. The property is situated within a delightful well established enclosed garden with tables, chairs, a chiminear and a barbecue for alfresco dining on those warmer days and evenings. Adjacent to the famous scenic Settle to Carlisle railway line, this is a truly unique rural location. Hawes the bustling market town is five miles away, with the famous Wensleydale Creamery, interesting and traditional shops, cobbled streets pubs, cafes, and restaurants serving good food.

Rear conservatory: with door to garden and views.
Kitchen: with electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Utility cupboard: with washing machine and iron.
Bathroom: with electric shower over bath, WC, basin, heated towel rail and underfloor heating.
Narrow winding stairs to:

First Floor: Bedroom 1: with double bed.
Bedroom 2: with double bed (access around one side of bed only).
Bedroom 3: with twin beds and TV.

Bed linen, towels and hairdryer provided. Starter pack of coal and logs for the fire included. Telephone with honesty box.Patios, garden tables and chairs, chiminea and BBQ. Private water supply. One pet welcome, free of charge. IMPORTANT INFORMATION. The property is situated close to the branch line for the Settle to Carlisle railway, where trains pass frequently. There is a wall with a gate and a five bar fence with gates that surround the cottage, giving protection from the railway line. This property is accessed by crossing a railway line, visitors are required to use the telephone at the crossing and speak to NetworkRail for instructions on how to use the crossing. Alternatively visitors can choose to park their vehicle and proceed to the property on foot via the footbridge.
