One of a pair, and benefiting from broadband wi-fi internet access, it is just 200 yards from the River Wharfe with superb walks in every direction. Bolton Priory and Fountains Abbey are an easy drive. Skipton, 10 miles. Riding and fishing locally. Shops 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

  5. A very comfortable cottage in a great location, very good walks in the area and lovely pubs. For most, booking ahead is essential. Cottage is very well maintained and plenty of information on the area is provided. Highly recommended. July 2011.
  6. A lovely, comfortable and spacious house that is well equipped. In a wonderful, quiet location in the heart of the Dales. Plenty of walks on the doorstep or nearby. Lots of room for a family or group of friends, you would have to fight for the four poster bed! What appears to be a recently refurbished modern bathroom with a terrific shower and huge bath. Colourful garden but you will need to be agile to use it. Has a big kitchen with a table that could be used for breakfast and the bonus of a separate dining room. July 2011.
  7. We loved the property and especially its idyllic location. It would be good to have a dishwasher, to be expected now in holiday rentals. Nor was there a corkscrew or some other kitchen utensils, a whisk or a blender. However the quality of the equipment is very good. Another armchair, you could not actually sit 6 comfortably in the sitting room. Changing the utility room to a shower room would also be good as there is lots of space in these areas for hanging and boots. May 2011.
  8. This is a very comfortable house. The rooms are well furnished and a good size. The beds, in particular, are very good. The bathroom is magnificent. The owners are very generous in the provision of utilities. The hot water comes from a combination boiler which allows everyone to have baths and showers whenever they wish, a real boon after a day’s walking in winter, and the house is well-heated, all in the rental. Consitone is a very convenient location for a Wharfedale holiday. Dec 2010.
  9. It was very comfortable with good sized rooms. The kitchen was one of the best equipped we have come across and the bathroom was very impressive. Having a real fire with plenty of wood to burn made the sitting room very cozy in the evenings. The location is wonderful. Oct 2010.

  11. Our first Dales holiday was enjoyed by all five in the family. This is a lovely cottage which has been carefully restored by the owners in a superb location for walking. We caught a trout and had it for breakfast, and went pony trekking. Thanks for providing such a lovely cottage
  12. This is our first visit to the Dales and we’ve found it marvellous - the scenery, the people, everything. The icing on the cake has been the cottage and Conistone. We shall definitely be back.
  13. We’ve had a super relaxing week here in the Dales - some beautiful walking and delicious produce. Very impressed by the cottage, very well equipped and thoughtfully organised. All the family have really enjoyed our stay - hope to be back.
